Inspired Iron and Lights

About our forge

We make iron chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and lanterns by hand, and only after you order. Here’s who we are and how the work gets done.

The maker

Meet the maker

Our story is coming soon. We’re putting together a proper introduction to the person behind the hammer.

In the meantime, here’s what every piece that leaves our forge has in common: it was shaped by hand, built for one specific order, and finished by hand before it shipped.

How it's made

From raw steel to your ceiling

Your order

Forging starts once you approve your quote, built to the size, finish, and shade you chose. We double-check the scale before we begin.

Heat and hammer

Each arm, scroll, and candle cup is heated and shaped by hand, not stamped on a line.

Assemble and wire

The pieces are joined into the finished fixture and wired, with canopy and mounting hardware included.

Hand finish

Your finish is applied by hand, so no two pieces come out exactly alike. That’s the mark of hand work, not a flaw.

Ready to hang

We confirm your price and timeline in your quote, and your fixture ships ready for an electrician to install.

Four hand-applied finishes

Choose your finish

Every design comes in any of our four finishes. Swatches are approximate; hand finishing means each piece has its own character.

Forged Black

A deep, classic black that lets the shape of the ironwork do the talking.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze

A dark brown-bronze with warm undertones that glow under lamplight.

Rust Patina

Warm, earthy reddish-brown for a weathered, old-world look.

Black with Gold Highlights

A black base with gold accents that catch the light along the scrolls and edges.

Questions, or something custom in mind?

We’d rather talk it through up front than have you guess on a made-to-order piece.
