Every Inspired Iron and Lights fixture is hand-forged after you order it. This policy explains how your piece gets to you and what happens if something goes wrong.
Production time
Production starts after your order is placed. Because every piece is built to order, timing depends on the fixture, its size, and our current schedule. We confirm your production timeline by email after checkout and let you know if anything changes.
Shipping
- We currently ship within the contiguous United States. For delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the U.S., contact us before ordering.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
- Smaller pieces ship by ground carrier. Large chandeliers may ship by freight and may require you to schedule a delivery window.
- We email tracking information once your order ships.
- Each fixture ships wired, with a canopy and mounting hardware included.
Inspect your delivery
Please inspect your package or crate when it arrives. If the box is visibly damaged, note it on the delivery receipt before signing, take photos, and keep all packaging.
Damaged or defective items
If your fixture arrives damaged or has a defect, contact us through our contact page within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the fixture and packaging. We will repair, replace, or refund it at our choice, at no cost to you. Please do not throw away the packaging until your claim is settled.
Cancellations
Because we start work quickly, you can cancel an order for a full refund within 48 hours of placing it, as long as forging has not started. After forging begins, orders cannot be cancelled.
Returns
Because every piece is made to order in the size, finish, and options you choose, all sales are final, and we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, sizing, or finish preference. That is why we double-check your sizing before we forge. If you are unsure about anything, please ask before you order.
Custom pieces
Custom pieces built to a quote are final sale once production begins. Any deposit becomes non-refundable once forging starts.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to post it.
